Rocktower Festival: Stage time and "meet & greet" announced
FIREWIND"s next festival show is coming up this Saturday and the boys will be returning to Germany for yet another killer show!!
FIREWIND will play @ Rocktower Festival in Lubeck on April 11th. They will hit the stage at 4:50 PM.
If you wanna meet the band, make sure you come down earlier as they will be signing autographs and taking photos with their fans from 1:50 PM - 2:10 PM!

Greek double chart entry!
According to the IFPI site, both current FIREWIND releases register chart entries this week in Greece: While hitting position #22 with “Live Premonition”, FIREWIND’s current studio album “The Premonition” has now also re-entered the charts at #24 and consequently celebrates its 11th week of presence in the charts! Congratulations!
Guitarist Gus G. checks in as follows:
“So many great things are happening to FIREWIND in Greece lately…From getting a #1 song on the radio, to the totally unexpected double chart entry to confirming a VERY special show this coming summer. We"re so happy and proud about the fact that we"ll share the stage with our idols - the Scorpions!! I personally am a huge fan from their early 70’s stuff up to their latest album. It"s also the first time that we"ll play the beautiful island.of Crete - a place where fans have been asking for FIREWIND for quite some time now.
Moreover, we"ve been writing some new material the past couple of months and by summertime I think we"ll be definitely missing playing live again. Thank God, we"ve lined up some great festival appearances and we"re looking forward to tear it up this summer @ some of Europe"s premier festival stages! See you out there VERY soon!”

FIREWIND"s power ballad "My Loneliness" which comes off their succesfull 5th studio album "The Premonition", has topped the charts @ Greece"s premier rock station "Rock Radio" (104,7)!! See the chart positioning below:

FIREWIND To Support the SCORPIONS in Greece!!
FIREWIND are confirmed to support one of their favorite bands ever - the SCORPIONS in Chania (Crete island), Greece!!
The venue is Perivolia Stadium and the date July 11th.
This will be the first time that FIREWIND will play in Crete and it"s their one and only exclusive show in Greece for the rest of 2009.
